• Students on Stage for Pioneer 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders. Sign-Up Today!
  Registration is happening now for this year's production of Cinderella by Pioneer students and the Capital Playhouse. No experience necessary.
  
  Parent Meeting, 6:15 p.m., Monday, February 8, Pioneer Library. Tuition is a nonrefundable $160, with $60 due with registration and the remaining at the first rehearsal. It is critical for students to commit to attending the daily, after-school practices from February 22-March 18 (3:30-5:30 p.m.). Performances will be held on March 19 (6:30 p.m.) and March 20 (1:30 p.m.) A limited number of partial scholarships are available. • Nominating Committee Seeks Officer Candidates
  for 2010-2011 School Year
  "I'll do anything for my kid..." We have all said it, we all mean it. Here is something you can do for your kids and your school: become a Parent-Teacher Association officer. The PTA provides services and funds for everything from computers to talking globes in the library, and the Fall Festival to field trips. Grow your school, serve your kids, and share your skills. Check on the offices on the Activities or Contact pages of this Web site or in the front of the phone directory, and consider calling a friend to co-chair a position or committee. Submit your name or recommend another parent to the Nominating Committee through Erin McDonnell at erin.m.mcdonnell@msn.com.
  
  
• Third Grade Teacher Mrs. Johnson Deserves Applause
  Congratulations to Mrs. Johnson for her successful renewal of her National Board Certification. The Olympia School Board will recognize her for her accomplishment at the February 8 OSD school board meeting. Kudos!
  
  
• Pioneer PTA Fundraising Auction--May 1 at Pioneer
  Committees for this year's auction are being formed and help is needed in several areas to make this event a fun-filled and successful evening. Volunteers needed for open committee roles and behind-the-scenes support.
